چکیده مقاله:
Introduction & Aim: Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer deaths among US women. It is estimated that around 230,000 American women were diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015, with 40,300 of them dead. More than 10,000 breast cancer patients have been diagnosed in Iran every year, with about 3,000 deaths lost due to the disease. This research is a descriptive study of some of the factors affecting breast cancer patients.Methods:The population under study is 3801 breast cancer patients whose data have been documented at the Cancer Research Center. The range of detection of breast cancer in patients between 1981 and 1394.Results:The mean age of the patients at the time of diagnosis was 48 years with a standard deviation of 11.7 years and a range of 17 to 98 years old.28.7% of patients had familial history and 71.3% had no familial history. Patients were divided into three groups without pregnancy (9.8%), one to three pregnancies (43.8%) and more than three pregnancies (55.4%). 96.9% of the patients received radiotherapy and 1.3% had no radiotherapy treatment.in the end, 93.3% of the patients are in life and 6.7% have died of the disease.Conclusion:In this study, a descriptive study was conducted on the survival status, the age of the patients at the time of diagnosis, the familial history, the number of pregnancies, and having or not having radiotherapy of patient with breast cancer.
