چکیده مقاله:

The adsorption of malachite green (MG) and crystal violet (CV) as cationic dyes and eriochrome Black T (EBT) as an anionic dye by magnetite nanoparticles loaded egg shell (MNLES) and magnetite nanoparticles loaded egg membrane (MNLEM) as naturally cheap sources of adsorbents were studied. Chemical coprecipitation method was used for preparation of MNLES and MNLEM and Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) instruments were used for specification of them. Adsorbents dose, pH and contact time were investigated and optimized as experimental variables affecting the dyes removal efficiency. Dye adsorption process was studied from both kinetic and equilibrium points. Pseudo-first order, pseudosecond order, intraparticle diffusion and Elovich models were used for study of kinetic of adsorption. At optimum conditions, the sorption of the MG on the MNLES and MNLEM were best described by Elovich and pseudo secondorder models and adsorption of EBT on the two adsorbents and CV on the MNLEM were described by pseudo secondorder kinetic model. Equilibrium data of MNLES for adsorption of MG and EBT and data of MNLEM for adsorption of MG were fitted well to the Freundlich isotherm more than Langmuir isotherm. But, for EBT and CV on the MNLEM were fitted well to the Langmuir isotherm. The results showed that MNLES and MNLEM can be used as efficient adsorbents for removal of anionic dye (such as EBT) more than cationic dyes (such as MG and CV) from aqueous solutions. Also, it was found that MNLES is not considered as a good adsorbent for CV.
