چکیده مقاله:

Substantial oil and gas industry exists in Iran, Where In these industries the heat transfer is done with different purposes. Heat treatment mainly includes 3 steps, at the first fluid heated, then the fluid used in the process, and finally, the fluid is cooled and its heat disposed to the environment. For heating fluids, it is needed to burn a significant amount of fossil fuel that produces significant amounts of pollutants such as SO2 and CO. But as mentioned, at the end of process, this heat disposed to environment. Heat pump is a device that can receive disposed heat and with a work, turn it to usable energy. This energy can be used for heating fluids, the first step of heat transfer operations. So less fossil fuel is required to burn, as a result less pollutant such as SO2 and CO is produced. In this paper, disposed heat in Amin Regenerator Tower (T2080) of Ilam Gas Treatment Company have been calculated and installation of heat pump in this unit have $ been studied. As a result, using heat pump in this unit, can save 26367—year and can reduce 1332 —lb SO2 yr and CO emission, in addition the payback time of this investment is 4.76 years.
