Through the population growth in cities and increase in ground cost, construction of tall buildings has become extended. Due to much amount of usable materials and also the workers, economy is an important issue in towers and architects are searching for new methods to decrease this costs. Fabrication-aware design is a design approach that causes short time for construction and reduction in material waste. Prefabrication can be helpful in this case. The main goal of this research is to find a solution for integrating the modular design process in tall buildings with the optimization approach based on spaces connectivity in plans. To reach this goal and based on space functions, some basic modules are defined and through extending them, the floor plans are made. Modularity helps prefabricating and can be used in future extension designs, reduction of construction costs and improving the buildings quality. Hence, the selected basic modules formatting different spaces and a buildable tall building emerges with some modules. This research is applicable and by keeping the space connectivity while providing the architectural requirements, has been done through library searches and using the digitaland parametric softwares. The achievements of this essay can be used for all prefabricated buildings especially in tall buildings
