Leaf vascular anatomy study in genus Primula (Primulaceae) of Iran

Primulaceae is a family of herbaceous plants, with about 53 genera and 2790 species (Christenhusz et al. 2011 ،Christenhusz2014& Chase ،APG IV 2016). In Iran, the genus Viola is represented by 7 species: Primula macrocalyx Bunge, Primula auriculata Lam, Primula capitellata Boiss, Primula algida Adams, Primula heterochroma Stapf, Primula gaubaeana Bornm, Primula fedtschenkoi. The aim of this study is investigation of the similarities, differences and delimitation of the closely related species based on leaf vascular anatomy. The studied samples including 7 species were selected from herbarium specimens and natural habitats and their leaves after a period of fixative and prepared for sectioning were studied by light microscope. According to the results so far have been conducted on gender near genus Primula, Vascular anatomy can be studied species of flora Iran could have the results to be such differentiation. So taxonomically are informative for recognizing the species
