چکیده مقاله:
Diabetes Mellitus Is A Common Metabolic Disorder The Prominent Character Of Which Being Excessive Increase In Blood Sugar. Introduction Of Insulin And Oral Diminishing Agents Of Blood Sugar As Drugs, Has Evolved The Management Approaches For Diabetes Mellitus; However, Despite Drug Progresses In Diabetes Management There Are Still Side Effects For Drugs. Fiber-Rich Foods Like Fruits, Vegetables, Grains, Cereals, And Foods Containing Less Fat, Cholesterol, Sugar, And Salt Are Beneficial In Sustaining The Normal Level Of Blood Sugar In Diabetic Patients; Hence People Of Different Regions Have Tried To Control The Blood Sugar And Treat This Disease Especially Through Traditional Medicine Using Native Plants Of Each Region And By Identifying Their Properties. The Diminishing Effect Cardaria Draba L. Plant’s Aquatic Extract On Blood Sugar Level Has Been Evaluated In Two Healthy And Sick Phases Of Rats In This Research. For This Purpose, The Aquatic Extract Of Mentioned Plant Was Administered To Rats As Gavage In Two Phases (Healthy And Patient Rats) And In Three Doses Of 100, 200, And 300 Mg/Kg. The Rats’ Blood Sugar Level Was Measured Before Administration And 2, 4, And 6 Hours After Gavage Of Aquatic Extract In Order To Determine Its Effect On Blood Sugar Decrease. The Results Of First Phase (Healthy Rats) Demonstrated That The Aquatic Extract Of Cardaria Draba L. Could Not Significantly Decrease Blood Sugar And There Was Not Any Remarkable Effect, But Evaluation Of Second Phase Results (Diabetic Rats) Showed That Aquatic Extract Of Cardaria Draba L. Plant Had Resulted In A Significant Decrease In Blood Sugar Of Diabetic Rats Especially In 200 Mg/Kg And 300 Mg/Kg Doses Treatments, And This Decrease Had Continued Until 6 Hours After Administration. Decrease In Blood Sugar Of Rats Was Also Observed By 100 Mg/Kg Treatment Until 4 Hours After Administration; However, The Blood Sugar Began To Increase Again After This Time
