Energy-Balanced Self-Organized Layer and Cluster based Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Networks

Wireless sensor networks are a web of sensor nodes with a set of processor and limited memory and energy resources. It is important to find an approach to gather data in an energy efficient way. In this paper we introduced an Energy-Balanced Self-Organized Layer and Cluster based Algorithm (EBSLC) for Wireless Sensor Networks. The comparisons show that EBSLC achieves lower overhead and less energy consumption compared with the known LEACH algorithm.
