چکیده مقاله:

Conjugated linoleic acid (CLA) is the common denominator of a group of c18fatty acids with two double bonds consisting of a mixture of positional andgeometric isomers . CLA is found in natural sources, such as the fat of milk andmeat of ruminant animals, approximately 2.5-17.7 mg total CLA per gram fat.Several studies have reported CLA inhibitory effects on breast cancer . somemechanisms are suggested in these way include :1. suppresses eicosanoids (PGE2) biosynthesis from linoleic acid metabolitesespecially arachidonic acid through COX2 inhibition in mammary glands.2. t10, c12 CLA inhibits MCF-7 Human Breast Cancer Cell proliferationthrough enhancing the accumulation of p53 and pRb mutant.3. inhibits ERα breast cancer cells from negative mediatory ERK/MAPKpathway and increase the apoptosis.4. t10c12 CLA significantly enhanced TNFα and induces apoptosis in breastcancer cells.5. reduce the expression of the S14 and fatty acid synthase (FAS) genes andimpairs the growth of human breast cancer and liposarcoma cells.6. Up-regulates the Estrogen-regulated Cancer Suppressor Gene, ProteinTyrosine PhosphataseƔ (PTPƔ), in Human Breast Cells .7. alters caveolae phospholipid fatty acid composition and decreases caveolin-1expression in MCF-7 breast cancer cells.8. Decreases MCF-7 Human Breast Cancer Cell Growth and Insulin-LikeGrowth Factor-1Receptor Levels.9. regulates PPARƔ expression and induces PPARƔ nucleus level and inhibitsthe proliferation in MCF-7 cells.
