چکیده مقاله:

Introduction: Breast cancer is one the most common causes of cancer death inwomen. Early diagnosis and treatment of tumors with smaller size has asignificant impact in increasing the chances for survival of life.Materials and Methods: A review of recent scientific papers related to thedatabase MEDLINE, SID and Iran s health.Results: Despite the fact that studies show that 5% of breast cancers occur inwomen under 40, young women often do not consider themselves at risk forbreast cancer. Diagnosed in younger women (under 40 years) is more difficultbecause the breast tissue is more dense. Further down in age group may be moreaggressive And less likely to respond to treatment are more mutated genes.Delay in diagnosis of breast cancer due to ignoring the warning signs such aslumps or abnormal discharge is higher in young women They believe it is tooyoung to be diagnosed with the disease. Many doctors as well as breast masseswho assume and agree with the approach (wait and see) are. While the diseaseis more challenging for young women with fertility, sexuality and pregnancy arecreated.Conclusion: Although it may not prevent early diagnosis and treatmentimprove chances of survival and quality of life will increase. It is recommendedthat all women 20 years of age or older should perform monthly breast selfexaminations(BSE). The best time to perform BSE is the day after theirmonthly period ends.
