چکیده مقاله:

Ultrafine LTB-Ag nanophosphors (4.5nm) at presence of PVP were prepared by a simple wet chemical method among verity calcination temperatures. The effects of PVP (polyvinylpyrrolidone) ratio on the crystallite and particle sizes were determined by XRD and TEM analysis. The thermal stability of sample were evaluated by TGA, DTG, and DSC. The peaks match with the (002) crystalline planes of the Monoclinic structure of silver boron hydroxide hydrate. FTIR spectra of LTB-Ag studied from 200-4000 cm-1.The peaks of 513 cm-1 can be showed Ag-O and peaks from 688-418 cm-1 are designated as O–B–O deformation mode of BO4 tetrahedral in Li2B4O7.The results illustrated that increment of temperature to 750 0C in presence of 0.018 mol PVP resulted smaller LTB-Ag crystallite sizes, very good dispersion and high efficiency as a radiation sensor to improve detection of absorbed dose. Increment ratio of PVP leaded the particle sizes decrement. The bandgap changes of the nanophosphor also depended on the temperature and capping agent as well. It exhibited wider value at 0.018 mol than 0.009 mol of PVP and 650 0C than 750 0C, suggesting that the presence of organic matrix hinders the agglomeration of nanoparticles in gigantic molecule of LTB-Ag.
