چکیده مقاله:

This science article introduce an improved antenna array factor synthesis technique using Least Squares Method (MLSM), which can be impressively applied to the synthesis of arbitrary linear equally spaced array antennas. As known in mathematics theory, the procedure of the least squares is a common method to determine the best fit line to specified curvature. LSM is a more direct method to phase array factor synthesis that can be applied for any linear equally spaced antenna arrays. Also, a correction factor is utilized to increase the accuracy of the proposed technique. The target of the using LSM is to determine the amplitude of each array element. The accuracy of this technique depends on the appropriate correction factor. By choosing a proper value for the correction factor, the convergence rate can be extremely improved and the final solution is able to fully meet the expectations. Simulation results depicts that array factor synthesis of linear antenna arrays using LSM, provides considerable enhancements compared to the other methods.
