The Etiology Of Breast Cancer, From The Perspective Of Traditional Iranian Medicine

Traditional Iranian medicine dating back more than two thousand years ago,and has many points incauses, treatment and prevention of diseases such as cancer, which is sadly neglected in recentdecades. Books that come down to us from the fourth century AD indicate that Iranian medicinesages knew at that time have cancer. Book reached us from the fourth century indicate that Iranianphysicians knew many important things about cancer,some theories of famus Iranian phy siciansabout the cause of cancer, proven in recent studies. In this study we examine the causes of breastcancer, from the perspective of Iranian traditional medicine. This study is a review article, based onfive sources Traditional Iranian medicine, including Canon of medicine, Al-Havi, The StudentsHandbook of Medicine, Zakhireye Kharazmshahi,Kamil al-Sinaa al Tibbiya. In general, cancer ismore common in women. Breast cancer is the most common, followed by the uterus. Ahvaz and Razihas been clearly determined the relationship between breast cancer and quality and quantity ofuterine bleeding. That means that if we have regular and normal range of uterine bleeding,the riskof breast cancer may reduce. Breast cancer is also associated with liver and spleen know. Ahwazireferred to the role of genetics in the transfer of some cancers. Some of cancer s etiology listed intraditional medicine, such as the role of nutrition in cancer development or the role of genetics hasbeen proven in modern medicine.Other etiologies of further studies in this area, is going to makethe blind spots in the prevention and treatment of this disease
