The effect of medicinal plants as cosmetics : Anti-Puff Eye cream

The origin of cosmetics forms a continuous narrative throughout the history of man as theydeveloped. The bioactive ingredients from botanicals include vitamins, antioxidants, various oils,essential oils, dyes, tannins, alkaloids, carbohydrates, proteins and terpenoids etc which serve ascosmetics for care of body and its parts. Herbal Cosmetics, referred as Products, are formulated,using various permissible cosmetic ingredients to form the base in which one or more herbalingredients are used to provide defined cosmetic benefits only, shall be called as HerbalCosmetics . Bags beneath the eyes is a widespread, cosmetic problem and occurs when the skinof the lower eye lid hangs loose, pouch like or puffy. The skin surrounding the eye is relatively thinlayeredand contains less fat than most other areas of skin. For this reason, the effects of aging,stress, diseases, and environmental pollution are first seen as puffiness, bags or rings beneath theeyes. Therefore, there is a need for a cosmetic product that is effective in retarding formation ofbags beneath the eyes and partially or fully restoring a smooth skin contour to puffy skin beneaththe eye. The present work focuses on the potential of herbal extracts from cosmetic and medicinalpurposes. The prepared formulations showed good effect on reduce puffiness. Natural ingredientscontained in the cream , stimulates the lymphatic system around the eyes, dramatically reduces eyepuffiness and swelling symptoms. So, this formulated cream prevent the formation of waterretention and swelling under the eyes.
