A review on Asphaltene Deposition Investigations

Changing pressure, temperature and composition cause instability in crude oil and create a problematicissue which is called asphaltene deposition. Asphatene deposition causes problems in wettabilityalteration and flow assurance in different parts of petroleum industry so asphaltene deposition become achallenging issue in petroleum engineering.it is necessary to predict asphaltene deposition and investigateparameters which affect asphaltene deposition.in literature numerous investigations exist. In this study weare going to represent a summary of previous studies and analyze different experimental setups andparameters affect on deposition.
