Corporate governance and managerial ethics: integrity, accountability, and transparency

One of the main factors contributing to economic under development, stagnation, and widespread poverty in a country is governance. Historically, well-governed economies have managed to overcome lack of natural resources as an impediment for social, political, economic, and managerial developments in their respective nations. However, resource - rich but poorly governed economies immersed in public and corporate corruption, have shown dismal performance in eliminating poverty, promoting social justice, and leading their economies in a sustained development path.
