چکیده مقاله:
Objective: In winter 2008, occurrence of abnormal signs in mullets was reported by fisher men to Institute of Ecology of Caspian Sea. In this study, isolation of Vibrio sp. Is reported from these mullets.
Method and materials: 60 fish with clinical singes, including lethargy, distention of abdominal cavity, sometimes exophthalmia, hemorrhage in body surface, abnormal swimming (belly-uprest), were captured and transferred to the laboratory.
Results and conclusion: In autopsy, swim bladder hyperinflation, paleling of liver and kidney, gallbladder enlargement (the singe of longtime starvation), increased of intestinal mucosal secretion and in many cases, hyperanemia and hemorrhage in swim bladder and viscera were observed in all fish. Bacterial cultures were made from brain and kidney in tyoglycolat blood agar, tryptic soy agar and brain-heart infusion agar, and have been incubated as aerobic and anaerobic for 3-5 days in 30c. The bacterial culture of 25 specimens of fish were positive. The colonies were soft, grainish in color, α-hemolyse and the had swarming. In the gramstaining were observed curved gram-negative basil. The examinations were shown that the isolated bacteria were Vibrio sp.
