چکیده مقاله:

A sample of heavy oil were examined via thermogravimetric analysis (TG) to investigate the behavior and reaction kinetics of in situ combustion process. In combustion with air, three distinct reaction regions were identified, known as low-temperature oxidation (LTO), fuel deposition (FD) and high temperature oxidation (HTO). Reaction kinetics of each region was modeled by Coats and Redfern procedure to determine both rate constants and reaction model. Such results are prerequisites for reservoir modeling of the in situ combustion model.
