Travel behaviour analysis in developing countries using thme-space prism approach

Placing individuals in two dimension , namely the physical location at a real time, is the basis of time-space prism approach. The opportunities, which require participation in the spatially distributed activities are able to define the travel pattern of the individual in a given period of time. Bindings of time-space constraints upon individuals determine the prism boundaries. This paper explains application of time-space prism to analysis travel behavior in developing countries. It is concluded that the approach provides a basis to understand time-space constraints and can be used to devise possible strategies to alleviate travel problems in developing countries.
