Stress-strength reliability of k-out-of-n: G system with a standby component

This paper is associated with the stress-strength reliability of a k-out-of-n: G system with a standby. The purpose is adding a standby component in the strength system to increase the stress-strength reliability and also decrease the costs. We obtainedthe explicit expression for the stress-strength reliability of the aforementioned system and in the exponential case the optimal mean lifetime of standby component has been attained.
