Simulation of fluid aliquoting in centrifugal microfluidics

In this paper, a numerical analysis of micro chamber fillingin centrifugal microfluidics is conducted. The multiphaseflow analysis based on Eulerian-Eulerian approach havebeen performed and the VOF method is used to model thetwo phase flow and characterization of the fluids interface.Numerical models of the centrifugal PCR micro chamberfilling are also developed. The results of simulation have agood agreement with the both experimental data in theliteratures and the available solutions.
