Choromosome studies in Specie of Salvia from Hormozgan

Salvia is an endemic species belonging to the family of Lamiacease. This study carried out to identify the genetic diversity of population that belonging to specie of S .mirzyanii, a specie in Hormozgan, Iran which is studying features of choromosomes in root tip meristemcells of seeds with asto-ferric-hematoxyllin were investigated. In this study, morphology and choromosome number and properties of this specie were analysed. Finally choromosome number of Salvia mirzyanii was calculated as 2n=2x=20
