چکیده مقاله:
Modeling of membrane separation processes is a vital step in developing and analyzing their performance in both pilot and industrial scales. Countercurrent flow pattern was investigated in this work for modeling the single stage and continuous membrane column (CMC) configurations for gas separation processes. Nanostructure MFI zeolite membrane has been assumed for modeling the membrane separation process of linear and non-linear hydrocarbons in light naphtha stream produced in isomax unit of Tabriz refinery. The optimum scheme was then selected by means of minimum total membrane area and compressor duty requirements.
