چکیده مقاله:
Current conveyors are three terminal devices with low and fixed current gain and they are able to convey current between two terminals with diverse impedance levels. Current conveyors have advantages over operational amplifier (opamp) that they have high voltage gain over a larger signal bandwidth and also better CMRR. Current conveyors have more applications in network synthesis such as controlled sources, impedance converters, impedance inverters, and gyrators and in analog applications they can be used in amplifiers, differentiators, integrators, summers, and weighted summers. In this paper, firstly positive CMOS second generation controlled current conveyor (CCCII+) is designed and simulated in LT-Spice. For this model (CCCII+ CMOS model), specific DC and AC simulations have been done in order to obtain parameter values for putting in special Macromodel formulas and achieving values of CCCII+ Macromodel elements. Then by simulating CCCII+ Macromodel and CMOS CCCII+, it can be observed that the DC and AC simulation results are approximately the same in both model and there is just 2.17% error in the similarity of CMOS and Macromodel of CCCII+ and the designed Macromodel is satisfying true for CMOS design. The symmetric voltage supply is 900(mv) and -900(mv) with 120 μA biasing. This design is more suitable for active filter applications.
