Study of Solutions prevention of Casing’s Collapse in Gachsaran Formation of Maroon Oil Field

The casing collapse is one of the acute problems of hydrocarbon wells in their production life. This phenomenon leads to out the well on the production cycle and high costs imposed to oil companies around the world. Todays, for this purpose, in everywhere of world the designing of casing and well cement should be done in such a way that have the maximum resistance against the horizontal in-situ stress and yet have the reasonable cost. There are many theories to explain the casings collapse event. One of the most important of these theories can be highly plastic properties of these formations , reservoir depletion and density during production , corrosive fluids in the formation , pore pressure of some formations , operation or use of cement cemented weak and the poor stress casing point to be mentioned. Gachsaran formation due to evaporation and abnormal pore pressure and unusual structure in some layers and multiple layers of plastic on the probability of occurrence of this phenomenon. This study aimed to evaluation the collapse string reasons will be done.
