Synthesis and characterization of a new pharmaceutical co-crystal [(caff)(gen)] by sonochemical method

In recently years, pharmaceutical co-crystals have attracted more attention because of their specific properties. Gentamicin (=gen) is an antibiotic agent used to treat several types of bacterial infections. In this project, we are synthesized a new co-crystal of caffeine (=caff) and gentamicin as a pharmaceutical co-crystal by using of ultrasonic irradiation.
