چکیده مقاله:

This study aimed to investigate the impact of interactive teaching methods on reinforcement of post-secondary non-tertiary students creativity. For this purpose, using available sampling method, 64 students were selected as sample from Velayat high school in Nasim Shahr city; they were divided into two groups: experimental group (n=32) and control group (n=32). Abedi’s Creativity Questionnaire was completed by both groups; the scorers were considered as pre-test scores. Then, the experimental group received 10 sessions in which the interactive teaching methods (problem solving method) were used to teach chemistry course; the control group were taught by traditional teaching methods. Again, both groups completed Abedi s Creativity Questionnaire; the scorers were considered as post-test scores. Using SPSS 22, the descriptive (central tendency and dispersion) and inferential (analysis of covariance) statistics were used for analyzing the data. The findings showed that teaching by interactive teaching methods (problem solving) had a positive and significant impact on creativity (ES= 0.394), flexibility (ES= 0.391), innovation (ES= 0.131), and extension (ES= 0.215) (P< 0.01); however, it had no significant impact on fluidity of participants (ES= 0.007) (P> 0.05).According to findings, the teachers should learn interactive teaching methods and receive the necessary training. They should use interactive teaching methods instead of traditional teaching methods, in which students are passive, to involve students in assignments and reinforce their creativity
