This study is an attempt to investigate the effect of team-teaching on Iranian pre-intermediate English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners’ listening comprehension. The secondary aim of this study is to find the possibledifference between male and female learners in this effect. In order to carry out this study, a sample of 60 EFL learnerswas chosen to take part. The Cambridge English Test (KET) was used to homogenize the participants and listeningsection of two other KET tests were used as pretest and posttest. The results of a Multivariate Analysis of Covariance(MANCOVA) statistical analysis revealed that team-teaching has a significant effect on Iranian EFL learners’ listening comprehension. On the other hand however, no significant difference was found between males and females in thiseffect. The results of the present study can contribute to the field of English Language Teaching and be of use for researchers, administrators and teachers.
