چکیده مقاله:

Most of critics have been saying for so long that a typical Alice Munro story is as rich and textured as any novel that they seem not to have noticed that her recent stories don’t resemble novels much at all. Alice Munro has achieved aplace of literary prominence, and when a writer has achieved a place of literary prominence, a critic tries to reviewthat writer’s new book as an opportunity to make a big statement about the prominent writer. Munro’s characters, in sex and love and family and all other things, are nothing if not cauldrons of mixed feelings, of tentative and oftenunspoken understandings and not-understandings, of the pursuit of wants at the expense of needs, of the pursuit of needs at the expense of the wants that turn out to be more needed than the needs. A gendered society where there is a clear separation, both physically and psychologically, between male and female space and where Munro´s unspokencritique of the patriarchal society comes to light. This study aims to review the story written by Alice Munro which is entitled Dear Life . It also reviews feminism and viewpoints about this theology
