A Detailed Experimental Study on Drying Process of a Porous Media

The main aim of this project is to study the drying characteristics of wood. In the first part of this survey the results are presented in terms of classical theory of drying. In the second part, the color development of wood after drying is examined using spectrophotometers. In the third part the effect of drying temperature and drying modes on the hardness and surface roughness of wood samples are evaluated.
