The nanocomposite bioadhesive gels are a new class of drug delivery systems (DDS). Nanoparticles (NPs) that used in these formulations are often made of biodegradable orinorganic sources. Since NPs increase the surface interaction area between bioadhesive and mucus chains the, theviscoelastic properties and the interaction parameters would enhance.
