Mechanical Properties and Morphology Correlation in Non-reactive HDPE/PA-6/EVOH blend

Multicomponent polymer blends, which is consist immiscible polymers, are a new emerging area in the field of polymeric materials. Mechanical properties of multiphase polymerblends depend on morphology of the system. Several models have been developed for correlation of morphology andmechanical properties of the polymer blends e.g., parallel, series, Barentsen models [3], Kerner-Nielsen [4] and Halpin- Tsai [1] equations.The objective of present study is HDPE matrix and PA-6/EVOH dispersed phase ternary blends morphology and mechanical properties correlation.
