The PVT measurement of the Styrene copolymers

In this work, styrene copolymer particles were synthesized by suspension polymerization process. The copolymer molecular weights were examined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC). The PVT data of allpolymeric samples were obtained by a high-pressure apparatus with an isothermal cooling procedure fordifferent temperature and pressures. The Sanchez-Lacombe (SL) equation of state was used for finding the characteristic parameters of samples. It was concluded that the with pressure increment and temperature decrement, the specific volume of each sample was decreased. Also the effect of the methyl methacrylate(MMA) units in samples and the relationship between the glass transition temperature and the specific volume of the samples were investigated
