Biocidal and Cytocompatible Polytriazole Coatings based on Soybean Oil

In the present work click polymerization technique was utilized for the preparation of polytriazoles with excellent biocidal activity against gram-negative, gram-positive and fungal microorganisms. As well, these polymers showed very promising cytocompatibility with fibroblast cells. All materials were fully characterized and their applicability as hygiene coating for medical devices was explored.
