Development of Cu production parameters on Zn target

Cu with short half life is a useful radioisotope in Positron EmissionTomography and treatment. For production of 64Cu, natural Zn target with approximately thickness around 190 micron and Zn68 with 98.5 micron is located on Cu sub layer with golden plating with thickness layer method. Natural Zn with 30Mev protons and Zn68 with 30-20Mev protons are bombed. After steps of chemical extraction, 64Cu is produced from natural Zn with and and Zn68 is produced with and .
