recent progress on the application, fabrication, and modification of Polysulfone(PSF) membrane.A review

Polysulfone (PSF) membranes have been extensively employed to scientific research as well as industrial operation. This phenomenon could be defined through its wide range of properties such as thermal stability, easiness of functionalization, good chemical resistance and surface properties. This article provides a comprehensive review on recent progress on the application, fabrication, and modification of PSF membranes. The applications include biology, energy, removal, liquid removal and wastewater treatment, and gas separation, etc. Subsequently, regard to the two major problems of PSF membranes in applications, i.e., membrane fabrication and membrane fouling, the some researches with the focus of methods and components are reviewed. This study can support profession researches of PSF membranes in future.
