Consequence Analysisin an Asalouyeh Petrochemical Complex

Today the identification and control of hazards in petrochemical industries be a major concern of managers for their sensitive systems. Various methods are used for prediction, detection and control of hazards and assessing existing risks associated with these hazards in the petrochemical industries. The objective of this article is performing Fire, Gas Dispersion and Explosion Analysis (FGDEA) for an Asalouyeh Petrochemical Complex based on approved assumptions and methodologies. This study is aimed at estimating impact distances by some known consequence end point to have a clear idea about the severity of credible hazards in subject facilities. The results of this study are used for the purpose of fire zones spacing analysis, restricted and impacted area determination.
