Optimization of storage tank arrangement for a FPSO in different load case considering hydrostatic stability

Nowadays offshore oil and gas field have been developed and the facilities for storage, drilling and production have been provided to explore and extracting the oil and gas.Ship shape structure is one of floating structures can be used as a unit for storage, drilling and producing of oil and gas. Storage capacity of ship shape structure is the most important factor in basic design. In this paper based on Standard Rules, a hull shape is arranged with storage tank. The stability criteria of this structure will be examined for different case studies the proper arrangement and storage tank dimensions is achieved by using the optimization approach. The optimization is carried out based on stability criteria.
