Studying the Spatial Distribution of Citizenry Participation in Traffic Decrease (case study: Esfahan city)

Participation, as the most basic element to achieve development ends, especially permanent urban development is of the great significant importance. The more the commonality participation in their own works. The more success in achieved in urban developing issues like traffic. By investigating the role of public participation in traffic management, the current study tries to present new procedures for optimized management of this problem in urban district. The current study in important, since it clarifies the role and position of citizenry as the most important factor in urban planning and management of transportation and emphasize their no deniable rule in urban traffic. This article aims at studding the spatial distribution level of citizenry participation in traffic decrease .considering a new procedure called intercity travelling demand, management (TDM).The research method of this study is descriptive analytical and data are gathered by questionnaire and finally they are distributed among nine traffic crossing in Esfahan city by using Kokran method for statistical population of 4879312 for 384 people. The resulting data are analyzed by using SPSS, GIs, expert choice. They have tried to use the inferential statistical method, analyze cluster and AHP model. The result of study show that citizenry of citizenry in the first district whit 59/9 have made. The most participation and citizenry of third district crossing with 15/6 percent had the least participation in decreasing the traffic.
