XRD and SEM of Room Temperature Grown ZnO Nano Rods Produced by PDC Technique

X-ray diffraction (XRD), and scanning electronic microscope (SEM) were used to detect the critical concentration of zinc sulfate hydro acetate alkoxide used to precipitate ZnO nano rods at room temperature, and they were also used to detect morphology and aspect ratio of the produced ZnO nano rods. We have been found that beside concentaration there are several parameters should be controlled in polymer derived ceramic (PDC) technique in order to ensure the growth of ZnO nano rods at room temperature.
