چکیده مقاله:

Nowadays the modern aircrafts use gas turbines. Moreover one of the most complex tool, which is commercially produced are the turbofan engines of civil and military aircrafts. These are quite expensive and their production needs a huge economic background. At the same time, the possible usage of these gas turbines is limited, basically due to their complexity and vulnerability above 2. 8 Mach speed. Nevertheless there are known other propulsion possibilities, even other kind of jet engines, which are much simpler than the gas turbines, i. e. ramjet and scramjet engines. The scramjet engines are still in an experimental stage. The unworthily neglected enginetype, is the ramjet engine. This is the simplest type of jet engine (it contains no moving part excepting fuel injection), its technology works excellently (already proven). The reason for omitting that it can be used between 0. 5 and 6 Mach. Nevertheless, the 6 Mach speed limit is much greater than 2. 8 Mach, especially by considering the affordable flying-height, which can be even 80-100 km according to the X-15 experimental aircraft flights. Thus the plane has to be accelerated to the 0. 5 Mach speed first. There will be introduced a plane, which main engine is a ramjet engine. It can fly at very high speed (Mach 6) at very high altitude (100 km). To reach 0. 5 Mach it uses a special coaxial double rotor on its tail. After the ignition of the ramjet engine, the rotors stop and integrate into tailfins and the body of the plane. The ramjet is quite simple, just like the rotors. These makes the manufacturing very cheap, thus it will be affordable for smaller countries.
