Rare Hemiterpene from Shoots of Euphorbia hebecarpa

A rare hemiterpene named 1-methyl cyclobutene is purified from acetone extract of Euphorbia hebecarpa using different chromatographic methods and identified by 1D and 2D NMR techniques.
