An Investigation of the Place of Rhythm in the Perspective of Iranian Art

Iranian art is the focal center in the discussions of art and art history of the world. The art nature can be widely discussed but here, Iranian art is especially considered. The present study investigates the phenomenon of rhythm in art introduction, as well as its localization, its applicable forms, and its cultural derivation. Meanwhile, some common points of artistic disciplines are discussed so that the similarities, especially in music, painting and architecture are used to make a better understanding about the considered issue. Then, the place of rhythm in Iranian art and its cultural roots of its formation and artistic creation are addressed. The present work attempts to improve the quality of art works with an analytical view referring to potential angels of rhythm phenomenon in Iranian music and visual arts.
