چکیده مقاله:
Zirconium carbide (ZrC) is one of the ceramic materials that has the melting point above 3400 °C, high hardness and good thermo-mechanical properties and is considered as one of the best known candidates for high temperature applications. Many methods have been reported for the synthesis of ZrC powder that can be noted to carbothermal reduction of ZrO2 at high temperature, sol-gel, low temperature synthesis by the reaction of magnesium in ZrO2-Mg-CH4, mechanical alloying and high temperature combustion synthesis. In this article tried to investigate about all methods that have been used for the synthesis of this material.
