چکیده مقاله:
Boron carbide - titanium diboride nano ceramics are used in various industries. These materials have high hardness of boron carbide and high strength and fracture toughness of titanium diboride. In addition, the presence of boron carbide and titanium diboride in a composite is useful for design of thermoelectric materials. Production of nanocomposites reinforced with metal, mainly obtain by dispersing powders containing metal (metal, metal oxides or other precursors) in the ceramic matrix. A method of dispersing is powder coating by means of electroless plating that it has been introduced as an effective method for improving the homogeneity and sintering ability of ceramics and ceramic composites containing a small amount of metal phase. In this paper tried to investigate the electroless method, affecting factors in this process and metals and metal alloys that are coating by electroless first, and then studied the effect of different additives that they using electroless method for improving the sinterability and properties of TiB2 -B4C nano composites and B4C and TiB2 ceramics.
