چکیده مقاله:
In this project zinc oxide nano particles were prepared using water in oil microemulsion method. Investigation of phase, morphology and photocatalytic properties of zinc oxide were carried out by X-ray diffraction, field emission scanning electron microscopy and UV-vis spectroscopy. Reversed microemulsion synthesis method using 35-bridge non-ionic surfactants leaded to the formation of nano-sized planar zinc oxide particles. The range of particle size by the use of scherrer equation was calculated to be 11-13 nm in different temperatures. Methylene blue was used in the investigation of photocatalytic properties. Results were the indicator of zinc oxide nano particles good efficiency in pollutants decomposition under ultra-violet radiation.
