چکیده مقاله:
In current study, the effect of explant type (cotyledon and hypocotyl), genotype (Azargol, Farokh, Maste,CIRENA and ESBIBA) and different combinations of plant growth regulators (IAA, NAA, BAP, KIN and 2,4-D) on regeneration of Sunflower were studied. The constant concentration 1 μM was used in all growthregulators. An experiment was conducted as a factorial arrangement based on completely randomize design(CRD) with three replications in plant tissue laboratory of the College of Agriculture, Urmia University, Iran inOctober, 2012. Some traits measured such as, number of rooted explants, number of explants with shoot-bud,number of explants with callus, number of explants with callus and root, number of explants with shoot-bud androot, number of explants with shoot-bud and callus, number of explants with root, shoot-bud and callus. Theresults of analysis of variance showed that evaluated cultivars had significant differences in response to differentPGR combinations. Results of mean comparison showed that maximum amount of callogenesis was obtained inhypocotyl explant, Farokh genotype in all media. Maximum number of shooting was observed in cotyledonexplants of Master and ESBIBA genotypes in medium which was containing IAA+BAP as well as, ESBIBAgenotype in medium which was containing IAA+KIN. Also maximum amount of rooting were related tohypocotyl explants of Azargol and ESBIBA genotypes, in media which were containing NAA+KIN as well asCIRENA genotype in medium which was containing NAA+BAP
