Sensitive Analysis on Mike21-BW Numerical Sea wave Diffraction Model Run Duration Intervals

DHI-Mike Software is one of best software describing water waves diffraction in the field of on/offshore concepts. Diffraction happening by obstacles around wave path, which has an important role in designing on/offshore structures In this paper by means of suitable and verified numerical model authors are aim to show the relation between Run Duration Intervals and the effects on Diffraction Coefficient. Intervals is what shows the accuracy of the run process which helps to determine this sensitive analysis and either is a one of models’ characteristics that is related to the CPU capablity that has influence on diffraction coefficient. A calibrate Model contributes to a suitable background forexamination of different run duraation intervals. Results show from calibrated model -by reputed Wave Diffraction Diagrams - will be concluded by increasing the intervals generally the wave height and the diffraction coefficient will be decreased, except the at th near shore areas that has different behaviour
