In this study, an analytical solution for the Falkner-Skan equation with heat transfer is developed. By using similarity, the governing momentum and energy equations lead to a system of ordinary differential equations with strongly nonlinear term in coupled form. In order to solve the equations, a combined procedure based on decomposition method (DM) is presented. In this work some solution obtained for velocity, temperature profiles and initial slopes. The results reveal that not only the proposed formula would predict the boundary layer of the Falkner-Skan equation in good agreement with those available results in literature, but also this would lead to the acceptable results to the those obtained by high accurate numerical methods. Moreover, the analyses indicate that the solution would represent the results for the whole domain of the problem. This is because of the convergence radius of the results in the procedure
