Meteorological and oceanographic data buoys

Since meteorology is a universal issue, it is very important that world meteorology orgnaziation (wmo) and nergovernmental oceanographic commission(ioc) maintains arrays of instrumented drifiting and moored buoys in the world oceans,even though there would be no human population.These automated buoys make routine measurementad and transmit their data in real-time through satellites.Such measurements include wind speed and direction,air temperature,air humidity,atmospheric pressure,current,sea surface temperature,but also water temperature at various depth to 500 meters below the surface for certain type of moored buoys.All buoys routinely transmit their positions along with the data.This paper is trying to introduce the important of buoys and its roll functions and variety in meteorological matter and oceanographic comunication.
