چکیده مقاله:

Purpose - This paper seeks to determine whether and how quality of working life (QWL) and organizational performance can be improved. The focus is particularly on diverse work practices in such a way that they improve the QWL and affect on performance.Design/methodology/approach - We discuss theories that support this claim or could provide additional support, and mention programs on workplace development. The self-assessments have been gathered separately from management, staff and experts used in the project. The data are based on a sample of 1,067 responses from 340 development projects. Findings – Two major themes emerged as the results; first, comprehensive development of organization, is associated with improvement in the QWL. second employee participation in planning and implementation phase and close collaboration during the process were related to outcomes at workplaces Originality/value – This paper makes a contribution to the debate on the effects of some work practices on QWL and performance. It also has added some new empirical findings.
